My name
A surrealism portrait exploring vulnerability, emotional pain
This piece employs various art materials to depict the hand movements used to express my name in sign language. The process involved pencils, paints, digital tools, oil pastels, ballpoint pens, markers, and engraving, used sequentially.
The work carries two main meanings. The first relates to the freedom inherent in art. Modern art has evolved into a genre accessible and enjoyable to everyone, regardless of race, disability, or age. There are no limits to appreciating and finding meaning in art. Sign language was chosen as a medium to communicate this message, illustrating that art can be created through the hands of diverse individuals using various materials.
The second meaning reflects my own infinite potential. Through this piece, I express my aspiration to convey my unique style and individuality, regardless of the materials I use.
